Concealed hinges

Keys with the terms used to define the concealed door hinges in the best way.

K distance

K distance is the distance between the door edge and the hinge edge. The K-Max means is the maximum K-distance that allows the correct rotation of the door from 0 ° to 180 °).

Hinge centered on the door leaf

The installation with a hinge centered on the door leaf has the advantage of making the door leaf reversible. You have a centered hinge when the K distance is equal to the measurement on the opposite side.

Full HD

All the hinge components have the same colour.

Maximum load capacity

The maximum load capacity is referred to a door 2100 mm high, 900 mm wide and with a center to center distance 1540 mm (as the reference legislation specifies). For the measurements that differ from the indicated ones, we suggest reading the range table which you can find on each product page.

Axis with assisted adjustment

All Krona Koblenz hinges are adjustable on the 3 axes (3D): X, Y, Z. Some of these adjustments are assisted while others are manual. The index table indicates the axes with the assisted adjustment.

Hinge spacing

It is the distance between the center of the top hinge and the center of the bottom hinge on the door leaf, whether or not there are other hinges between them.

Application types
