How to interpret widths and heights

How to correlate widths and heights

1) Widths

Door leaf width of 565mm, 665mm, 715mm, 765mm, 815mm, 915mm is available for SwingLife Standard version.

The table below shows how the given clear opening width and the wall opening width change in the possible door leaf sizes.

How do you read the table?

The table is bidirectional. Based on your starting point (door leaf width, given clear opening width or wall opening width), you can find out the dimensions of the other widths.

Example: If I have a wall opening with the width of 900 mm, the door leaf must be 765 mm and its clear opening will be 723 mm with a 50 mm thick door leaf.

*Calculated with door leaf thickness of 50 mm. With smaller thicknesses, the given clear opening width is larger.

How to calculate the given clear opening width (Lup)?

The given clear opening width is calculated according to the following formula: Lp - 17 - Sp/2

How to calculate the wall opening width (Lvm)?

The wall opening width is calculated according to the following formula: Lp + 135 mm

2) Heights

In the SwingLife Universal version the available door leaf heights are 2034 mm and 2084 mm.
In the below table it is indicated how the clear opening height and the wall opening height change depending on the height options.

How do you read the table?

The table is bidirectional. Based on your starting point (door leaf height, given clear opening height or wall opening height), you can find out the dimensions of the other heights.

Example: If your wall opening is 2150 mm high, the door leaf must be 2084 mm high and the clear opening will be 2101 mm.

How to calculate the given clear opening height (Hup)?

The given clear opening height is calculated according to the following formula: Hp + 17 mm
